Welcome to the Coastal Newsletter

Welcome!  It’s been a few months since our last newsletter and a lot of things have changed during that time.  I’d like to take a moment and tell you about a couple of the more notable items.

We have officially released Electronic Service Control (ESC) version 3.6.  ESC 3.6 offers many enhancements, more reports, new help files, and some great new features that can radically enhance your productivity.  This release also marks the debut of our new mobile computing solution and our partnership with Microsoft to provide completely integrated mapping capabilities.  A complete list of new features is included in your upgrade package.  If you haven’t received it yet, don’t worry, it is already on its way to you.

We have also made some substantial changes to this newsletter.  As the more perceptive of you have no doubt noticed by now, the newsletter is now completely electronic (really).  This gives you the ability to view every newsletter created from this point forward, any time you want, all you need is an Internet connection.  It also gives you the ability to link directly to our updates page and other sites of interest.

Perhaps the most substantial change to this newsletter, however, is that we will now be publishing it monthly.  Every issue will include concise how-to articles that will help you maximize the benefits ESC can provide.  This month’s newsletter includes articles on proper backup procedures and time block dispatching.  Feel free to drop me an email and let me know what subjects you would like to see covered in future editions.

So what are you waiting for, dive in and learn how to take advantage of the most powerful tool you own.
